We were staying at the Elba Hotel on a motorbike touring holiday with Canary Motorcycle Tours who recommended this little restaurant. The food is probably the best we&#39;ve had during our stay and I really wish we&#39;d tried it earlier - we would definitely have returned! Beautifully cooked traditional Canarian dishes, so tasty and tender. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is right next to Sanmao&#39;s former residence.

The owner is a student of Grandma Ganti.

Because he heard that Sanmao particularly liked to cook with salmon,

he invented a salmon meatball,

and called it &quot;Sanmao meatball&quot;.

Here I also ate the Canarian specialties that I have always been curious about:

Gofio-corn paste, the locals like to eat it with onions;

Lapas-a shell that is a bit like scallops, but more challenging to teeth;

Papas Arrugadas-wrinkled potatoes cooked with the skin, served with Mojo sauce.

These are hard to find in other parts of Spain,

They serve Canarian food with a twist with a great service and selection of wines. We have been to this place many time and we recommend this restaurant.

Amazing evening. Like you&rsquo;re going for dinner in their living room. Excellent host, fresh food and fab wine. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!
